Alexander Liddington-Cox is an Australian freelance business journalist. His work has been published by FT’s This is Africa, Al-Monitor, Daily News Egypt, The Australian, SmartCompany, Property Observer and Crikey, and he’s done interviews with Australian television broadcasters Ten Network and ABC 24, and for radio programs on 774ABC Melbourne, Radio National and Southern Cross Radio. Before moving to Egypt he was the North America correspondent for Australian Independent Business Media, now owned by News Corporation. He was AIBM’s first foreign correspondent. While in New York he penned regular features on US economies, companies, financial markets, regulation and the 2012 presidential election, often in conjunction with revered Australian business journalist Robert Gottliebsen. He also wrote the daily columns Breakfast Deals, covering Australian mergers & acquisitions and capital markets, and The Distillery.
