Amina Chombo is a journalist based in Mombasa, Kenya. Currently working for VOA Swahili service, as a stringer. I have over 13 years experience in the industry , i worked in the local media in coast Kenya for 7 years before i joined Voice of America as a stringer , 6 years ago. I am working for both Radio and Tv reports my main focus is on solution journalism. my main focus is on health, environment, women and children. i have won Ajea awards by media council of Kenya, check awards by Internews , and Reach out Centre trust media awards on drug and substance abuse story reporting in Kenya.
