I’m an American freelance writer, photographer, and videographer based in southern Albania. I’ve written neighborhood profile essays about relationships, immigration, and belonging for the City Visible section of The New York Times, and have covered breaking news in the Palestinian Territories, New York City and Oklahoma. Other publications and media outlets (writer, photographer and videographer) include Youth Today, Juvenile Justice Information Exchange, the Associated Press, Ruptly TV, and the Daily Oklahoman. I graduated from the International Center of Photography's documentary photography program in 2008 and have a BA in Liberal Studies from Cal State San Marcos. I’m an MFA candidate in Integrated Media Arts at Hunter College in NYC. I'm available for assignments in Albania, Greece, the Balkans, and the U.S.
