I'm an award-winning senior journalist, news editor and writer currently based in South Africa. I have 15 years of experience in commercial news production as a field reporter, anchor and news editor working across broadcast, print and digital news with a special interest in podcasting and audio documentaries. I'm also an experienced media trainer, having coached dozens of corporate executives and senior public servants on how to deal effectively with the media. 

Best known for my radio news anchoring on Talk Radio 702, I was also Digital Development Editor and Deputy News Editor at Eyewitness News (EWN) until July 2018. My feature work has appeared in publications including EWN, Cosmopolitan, FHM, the Wits Review and ASSAF's Legends of South Africa Science. 

I graduated with a BA (Honours) in Journalism from the University of the Witwatersrand and was named a 2014 fellow of the World Press Institute.
