Dynamq, the award winning South Sudanese musician, DJ and activist visited South Sudan October 2017. He had a concert, toured the city, was invited to radio stations and met up with other South Sudanese artists. He recorded 4 songs while in Juba. The Roots Project, is a non profit organization in South Sudan which empowers vulnerable women economically through arts and crafts. I filmed this just before a fundraising event in 2016, in Juba South Sudan. The Women made the beads into South Sudan traditional fashion accessories which are sold at the Roots Project shop in Juba.
