Dani Birzer (he/they) is a journalist based in Washington, United States of America. They are currently a graduate student studying broadcast journalism and public affairs at American University looking for internships, part-time, full-time and freelancing opportunities. 

Currently they work as a graduate research and teaching assistant to Pulitzer-prize nominee Wendy Melillo and freelance for HuffPost's The Mighty online publication covering such issues as LGBT, disability rights and healthcare, hearing loss and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Type 3. 

Graduated from Savannah State University with a B.A. in Mass Communications and Journalism in May 2020.
