I am a journalist who loves writing about science and the environment. In recent years, I have focused mainly on climate change, pollution, land use, and coastal ecosystems, with an eye on both the local and global picture. My past experience includes working as a reporter and an editor in different newsrooms–three daily papers and a magazine–, as well as writing features, and collaborating with other journalists on cross-border stories as a freelancer. Lately, I have also added science communication to my list. In 2012, I co-founded IRPI, Italy's first center for investigative journalism, which I left in 2017. In 2016, I was awarded a fellowship by the Knight Foundation, Vice, and CUNY, which brought me for the first time to New York City. Two years later, I specialized in Science, environment, and medicine at Columbia Journalism School. I'm always happy to hear about new projects and opportunities, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
