Over the last 14 years, I have worked in almost every field of journalism, and have spent the last 7 years managing my own news and media production company.

As well as possessing exceptional writing skills, my work in TV and new media, has given me a unique skill set, enabling me to get a message out to the widest possible audience, in the most engaging way and often to a tight budget. Working in many different organisations and countries, over the years, I have built up an extensive list of international media contacts. I also have experience of working in conflict zones.

Working as a video journalist, I have acquired further skills as a story-teller. I am an excellent lighting cameraman and video editor, filming on a wide range of cameras and formats, and able to script and edit, to tight deadlines. I am proficient in using Final Cut Pro, Avid, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop and After Effects, and have experience using those skills in helping NGOs on video and new media campaigns. I am also an accomplished photographer, and often combine photography with my video work.
