Ian Black is a highly experienced journalist, historian and commentator based in London, United Kingdom. He is now a senior visiting fellow at the Middle East Centre at the London School of Economics (LSE). He is a former diplomatic editor, European editor and Middle East editor of the Guardian newspaper. Ian is an acclaimed expert in international affairs, with particular reference to the Middle East, including the Israel-Palestine conflict, Iran and the Gulf states. He also comments regularly for a wide variety of TV and radio stations on the Brexit crisis facing the UK.
