Imran Khan is a multimedia journalist living in Washington, DC. Khan graduated from the Corcoran College of Art & Design with a BFA in Fine Arts Photography. He received his master's degree from George Washington University in New Media Photojournalism. His master's thesis included a documentary about hepatitis C virus, "Unnecessary Suffering". His past work dealt with issues concerning Muslim identities and the immigrant experience. His exhibitions have included "Unnecessary Suffering" in NEXT at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, 2015. “Thesis Preview Show” at the Gallery 31, Corcoran Gallery of Art, 2014. “Angel of Death” in Next at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, 2012. “Qabar/Grave)” at the Gallery 31, Corcoran Gallery of Art, 2011. “Death and Rebirth” at the House of Stavrakas Gallery, Patmos, Greece, 2011. Khan's works have been published in the Washington Post, Washington Blade, and in “Megacities and Global Health” American Public Health Association Press 2011. He is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Pashto.
