Jurriaan Meyer has a Dutch-Austrian background and is based in China and Vietnam and reports on society, economy and technology in East and SE Asia. Jurriaan has been living in Asia since 2003 and is fluent in Mandarin-Chinese. Jurriaan is an expert on the economic, foreign and health policies of China and Vietnam and the major shifts currently happening due to "de-globalization" in tech, manufacturing, supply chains and its impact on the global economy and workforce. Engaging with local and expatriate people from all walks of life, Jurriaan has access to a wide network of professionals, policy makers, academic and social leaders in China and Vietnam giving him unique access and the insight reporting about business, society, and the arts in Asia.
