Music and dance shows, conferences, book launches, movie shows, exhibitions and activities for children were among the many attractions that attracted thousands of Portuguese and foreign visitors to Mértola during four days. Every two years, the festival, which is already in the 9th edition, transforms the Alentejo village which opens its arms to celebrate and spread the Islamic culture and its ties with Portugal.
