Luís Guita is a journalist based in Lisboa, Portugal. Professional experience in recent years: - Since 2010 I am a journalist on the international television channel EURONEWS, Lyon (Hard-News, Sports, Documentaries, Art and Culture, International Analysis, ...) - Since 2010 I am a correspondent of Swissinfo in Portugal (Art and Culture, Science, Economy, Sports, Social Research, ...). - In the years 2008 and 2009 I was the correspondent of the LUSA Agency in Paris (coverage of the most striking themes of the current French and of the various demonstrations / presence of Portuguese in France, ...) - Between 2007 and 2011 I worked as a journalist at RFI (Radio France International), Paris. Music and dance shows, conferences, book launches, movie shows, exhibitions and activities for children were among the many attractions that attracted thousands of Portuguese and foreign visitors to Mértola during four days. Every two years, the festival, which is already in the 9th edition, transforms the Alentejo village which opens its arms to celebrate and spread the Islamic culture and its ties with Portugal.
