Sick and not crazy!

Pointe-Noire, Congo Health & Fitness September 16 @ 11:13am

Mental disability is associated with witchcraft in most African societies and seeking medical attention is not always the first option taken by families of sick people. Mentally ill people can be found here and there in the streets of Pointe-Noire, haggard, while others search the city's trash cans.
To raise awareness about their situation especially in this period of Covid-19, MIXIANA LABA, a 22-year-old comedian and budding director has decided to devote a street show to them entitled "blinded reality" Show in which she will slip into the skin of a "madwoman" in the hope of drawing attention to the plight of the mentally ill in the city of Pointe-Noire.
