In last two years there is sudden rise in number of visits of tourists from Gulf countries to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Not only that. They are buying more and more land, build luxurious hotels, gated communities, tourist centers, houses and villas. Despite the fact that Bosnian law does not allow foreigners to own property except in case they already have opened company in the country or in case where bilateral agreement was signed to allow ownership by both parties. At the same time, state authorities have opened hundreds of investigations in possible fraud due to illegal property trade.
