United college in divided city

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina Current Affairs February 21 @ 4:02pm

In city of Mostar, known for its Old Bridge, there are still a lot of divisions made by local politicians. Croats and Bosniaks even if not physically divided, feel separated due to ethnic tensions and political interests. Best exampla are schools who teach different curriculum - one for Bosniak (Bosnian Muslim) and one for Croatian children. But at the former front line in this city there is building that hosts United World College, school that brings children from all over the world but also local Bosniak and Croat children, as the only pleace int he city where they freely work and play together.
