Transgender people unemployable in South Africa #PrideMonth

Pretoria, South Africa Social June 1 @ 8:24pm

As the world commemorates Pride Month, South Africa's progressive constitution is just not enough to help transgender people to find mainstream jobs. I would like to tell this story through the life of a transgender woman in her late 20s with a Master's Degree from the United State, yet her CV/resume is not attractive enough for potential employers. She can share her experience with job interviews and the kind of work she settles for. And we can interrogate how this may displace her and others when they reach retirement age - especially in a struggling economy with skyrocketing unemployment.
