Zimbabwe's socio-economic hardships and disparities have forced some women to turn to sex work to make ends meet. However, the profession is frowned upon by society, and sexworkers are frequently demonized, reducing their chances of marriage and acceptance. Fearing societal backlash and victimization as a result of their night-time profession, some sex workers inevitably become day vendors selling various beauty products to justify their source of income and attract potential marriage suitors.
