Cristina Papaleo is a journalist and editor based in Bonn, Germany. She works for international media Deutsche Welle (DW) in Germany. She speaks Spanish (native language), German, English and Portuguese.

I am an American based in Bonn, Germany. I am only willing to work remotely at the moment due to the pandemic. 

I have worked as a Bundesliga commentator, photographer and writer in some capacity since 2013. My work has been featured primarily on the Bundesliga Fanatic and Deutsche Welle, Read moreGermany's international public broadcaster. I also covered US sports, primarily around the Washington, DC area, for local outlets.

I have also worked as a travel writer, primarily in Japan and Europe for Deutsche Welle. I hope to expand my traveling horizons after the pandemic. 

As you can imagine, much of my reporting happened with Deutsche Welle. I have also covered nerdy stories, world politics and offbeat news.

Although I started my professional career as a Journalist in traditional Media (Radio and Newspaper) writing a lot of reports on social and economical aspects, and making so many interviews to different people related with these topics, in my last years I have been working as Communications Read moreManagers in different international companies, so I'm used to writing a lot, specially brochures, publications, stories and news . 
I do not like only writing, but also creating, telling the story in such a creative and different way that the public would be really interested in the article.
