Adelina Ahmeti, investigative journalist, researcher and assistant editor I am a journalist, researcher, and assistant editor at BIRN Kosovo and the anti-corruption platform KALLXO.com. I began my career at BIRN in 2015 as an intern and later advanced to the role of senior journalist. Over the years, I have built a strong reputation for covering justice, security, and current affairs, with a focus on issues such as extremism, terrorism prevention, and public accountability. My reporting often garners regional attention and is frequently featured on Balkan Insight. I hold a degree in Journalism from the University of Pristina and continuously invest in my professional development through various training sessions and workshops. Since 2016, I have also covered sensitive developments in the northern part of Mitrovica and have assisted international journalist teams reporting from Kosovo. Many of my investigative stories have led to official investigations, arrests, and legal action against individuals involved in corruption and misconduct. Throughout my career, I have received recognition for my work, including awards from the Association of Journalists of Kosovo, the EU Awards for Investigative Journalism, and the Coalition of NGOs for Child Protection in Kosovo (KOMF).
