Akalambi Clare Enjoh is a trained Development Communicator, Journalist, Photojournalist, Quiz Master and Public Relations officer, passionate about children/youths development, environmental conservation and Community Development. She is a holder of a MSc in Communication and Development Studies. In addition, she is presently the Communication Assistant of the Rural Women Center for Education and Development (RuWCED-Cameroon) where she uses her skills and knowledge to effect change in the community especially in the domains of Gender Based Violence (GBV), Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and Harmful Traditional Practices (HP), which has worsen because of the Anglophone crisis plaguing the English speaking regions of her country, Cameroon. She is equally a fellow of the Young Africa Media Fellowship (YAMF) 2022 and a fellow of the Young Africa Leader Initiative (YALI) West Africa, cohort 41.

The piece is a poem titled "MY AFRICA". It was an entry for the Young Africa Media Fellowship Challenge and it was the only written piece that was amongst the top 5 winning entries, all videos, occupying 3rd place.
The piece is a feature story on Gender-Based Violence in Cameroon newsrooms. The story got published in AWiM's GBV Magazine launched during their 2023 AWiM Conference in Rwanda.
