I was a guest of the Dialogue Zone - LISTEN UP, at the 16th edition of Tattoofest – the biggest tattoo festivals in Europe. I was talking about New Zealand and Māori culture of tattooing. During my stay in New Zealand, I had a meeting with Pouroto Ngaropo – the chief of the Māori tribe Ngāti Awa, recognized as the reviver of the "moko mātaora" culture – the traditional facial tattooing of the Māori people. I was interviewed by Piotr Miecznikowski. We discussed together the true significance of moko for the authentic Māori.
