Alessia Anselmo is a sports journalist based in Palermo, Italy. Over the years she has also covered other sectors, such as local politics. She has a degree in Modern Languages and Cultures, with proficiency in English, Spanish, and some French. Also, she has a master’s degree in journalism. Since 2013, she has been a registered journalist and, as of 2023, a professional journalist. Her experience includes work for printed newspapers, both local and national television, various online newspapers, and a Palermo-based radio station. Additionally, since 2013, Alessia has served as the press officer for Telimar, a sports club specializing in water polo and rowing. In these ten years, she has presented conferences, book presentations and awards, as well as acquiring skills in the field of video and audio editing and social media.
