ALFREDO JUNIOR LITURI is a journalist based in Maputo, Mozambique. Brief Biography: Alfredo Júnior began his journalistic career in 1995, in a Community Radio of the Maputo City. In 1998, he was part of the "Desafio" Sports Journal, which is owned by Sociedade Noticias. In 2002 he was invited by the Soico Group to join the group of founding journalists of STV-Soico Television, a television station where he was a journalist from the economic, society and sport areas. He was Editor-in-Chief and Senior Editor of STV over several seasons, where he hosted various programs such as Telejornal, Tribuna Económica, Ao Ataque and other programs on the TV channel. In 2009, the collaboration with the world's largest lusófono portal, SAPO.MZ Portal, of the portuguese group PT Comunicações, was initiated. He is currently Director of Information for Media Mais TV, and former Director of Information of Independent Television of Mozambique and since 2015 correspondent of VOA-Rádio Voz da América. In addition to having several backgrounds in journalism, he holds a degree in Chemical Engineering.
