I filmed and interviewed guests for VOA's breaking news: "Taraweh in Times Square"

I filmed the very first event of Taraweh at Times Square during the month of Ramadan. An event that celebrated the breakfast of Muslims from all over the world, gathered together in the heart of Times Square.

I edited this VOA Pop Radio News detailing Olivia Colman's performance in "The Lost Daughter". Olivia Colman shares her experience of pregnancy and motherhood, highlighting the importance of asking help from family when taking care of newborn babies.

I wrote an article on Dira Sugandi's Jazz performance in America. Despite being slightly nervous performing amongst legendary Jazz musician Harvey Mason, Dira was able to give an outstanding performance that brings pride to her home country, Indonesia.

I wrote an article on the launch of Nial Duliarso's new single: "Happy days". A song he wrote 10 years ago, and recently released after being inspired from his lifestyle living in New York City.

09 Mar 2022  |  VOA Indonesia
Indonesian jazz pianist Nial Djuliarso, amidst completing his Jazz studies in New York, has released a new jazz single titled 'Happy Days'. Inspired by the city of New York, Nial, who recently completed his Master's degree from NYU's Steinhardt Master Program, finds the city to be full of inspiration, from Manhattan to the Bronx and the NYU campus area. Nial, who has a background in jazz studies from Julliard School and has released an album featuring the works of Ismail Marzuki, is known for his soft improvisation piano style. He hopes his works will make Indonesian jazz more known in New York and internationally, and wishes 'Happy Days' brings happiness to listeners.

I assisted in the production of this news coverage on the Indonesian Bazaar held in Queens, NY. A Bazaar that celebrates the diverse Indonesian culinary that ranges from chicken stay, to Rendang Tempe, with a cooking demonstration by guest chef Yuliza.
