In a historic Premier League match, Liverpool decisively defeated Manchester United with a score of 7-0, an event that mirrors a similar defeat United suffered at the hands of Wolves 92 years ago. Liverpool's victory was marked by a strong start with Cody Gakpo scoring the opening goal at the 43rd minute and continuing his performance with another goal in the second half. Darwin Nunez also scored twice, while Mohamed Salah made history by scoring his 129th goal for Liverpool in the league, and Roberto Firmino sealed the victory with the seventh goal. Manchester United's defense struggled throughout the match, and the team's coach, Eric Ten Hag, was unable to turn the game around.
