Artem Iurchenko – Filmmaker, Journalist, and Videographer Artem is a Ukrainian-French filmmaker, journalist, and videographer with a deep focus on documentary and fiction storytelling. Born in Kyiv, he has been working in the film industry for over a decade, specializing in directing, editing, and post-production. His work often explores themes of war, identity, and the psychological impact of conflict. In 2018, he released Les jours maudits, a documentary filmed during the Maidan events, which received critical acclaim and won several awards at international film festivals. Since then, he has worked on multiple large-scale film projects in France, Switzerland, and Ukraine. Currently, he is directing Ukraine. Paysage instable, a feature documentary produced by the French company Les Films d'Ici, capturing the unstable reality of war through a personal and cinematic lens. Beyond filmmaking, Artem has worked as a mentor in documentary storytelling and has experience in investigative journalism. His work often bridges visual art and reportage, shedding light on untold stories from conflict zones. He is also an avid traveler and artist, blending his passion for cinema, photography, and narrative-driven content creation.
