The hospital has a history of kit shortages and machine breakdowns, affecting the ability of patients to receive treatment, which should occur thrice weekly. The government has subsidized the cost of dialysis, but access to machines and kits is still a significant challenge. Questions are being raised about the hospital's planning and management of supplies, but the Director of the hospital has not provided any answers.
