Elisabetta Norzi is a journalist based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. After a life between Turin and Bologna, I began another one in the desert of Dubai. In Turin I studied modern literature, in Bologna a master's degree in journalism. Here I took a break and decided to focus on social issues. I joined the editorial team of the Redattore Sociale press agency, worked for the Rai social secretariat and for the Espresso-Repubblica group. As a passionate globetrotter, I started freelance reporting on Burma during the "Saffron Revolution", which was picked up by the main Italian newspapers and TV channels. After several years as a correspondent from Dubai (Peacereporter, Linkiesta), I founded the web magazine ****, which I managed until 2020. Since 2018 I have been working as a Middle East correspondent for San Marino RTV and since 2020 for RSI Switzerland, where I also cover major international events (Special Olympics Abu Dhabi, Expo 2020 Dubai, COP28, COP29).
