Etheine Sylva is a journalist based in Serrekunda, Gambia. He worked for the Daily Observer from 2010 to 2011 and later proceeded to Unique FM a year later. From Unique FM ( a private Radio Station) he got a job at The Gambia Radio and Television Services (GRTS) in 2014. At GRTS, he pitched human interest and feature stories. He became a Presidential Correspondent in 2016 up to 2017. Currently, he is working with the Food and Agriculture Organization ( FAO) as a Communication Specialist. But before joining FAO, Etheine also worked in a similar capacity at the Food Safety and Quality Authority of The Gambia and SeeFar’s “The Migrant Project” In his country.
