Fernando Fraguela Fosado (1991, Cuba) Graduated in Film Direction in 2018 at the University of Arts,Cuba. Graduated in 2019 of Documentary Video Production in Havana, from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. He directed and wrote the documentaries Women dreaming a nation, Existen, resistance of urban art in Cuba (2023) and The abattoir (2022) Best Documentary at 26th International Málaga F.F; Dreams Adrift (2020) premiered at BAFICI, and won best Cultural representation in Cine Austral F.F. and A man's disgraces(2018) Best documentary at Imago F.F. And directed and wrote the shortfilms Ladridos (2016) Official Selection in Gibara F.F. and Un hombre (2015) Best shortfilm at El almacén de la Imagen. He won the script creation scholarship Chicuelo in 2015 and 2017 with the projects La Lucha and Tierra Roja.
