Garries Wamundila is an investigative journalist based in Lusaka, Zambia. He has practiced Journalism for over 12 years having started his career with Oblate Radio Liseli where he served at various levels running the News Department. He later moved to Real Radio Zambia in the similar capacity. Besides his journalism career training with the University of Zambia (UNZA), he has also been trained by the BBC Media Action and Deutsche Welle (DW) Akademie in Radio and TV broadcasting disciplines. He speaks English and is well proficient with most of Zambia's local languages. Garries is also an excellent programme management specialist and media trainer. He is passionate about his work, well placed with Zambian cross cutting issues and easily adapts to working with different people. He is an expertise in audio packages, in-depth stories, breaking news, interviews, Live Phoner for TV & Radio, Live stand up feature, news gathering and vox pops.
