I am an independent freelance journalist and film-maker, have been covering stories in different regions of the World. I followed and observed conflicts and grassroots movements in the Middle East, South East Asia, and Europe. Human-driven stories have been at the forefront of my work while major policy decisions drive the news agenda, the human consequences of those policy decisions are what drive my work. My work has made me a part of international media teams from CNN, AP, TIME, TVE, BILD in various roles. Besides conducting Gender and Diversity studies in HSRW and I am one of the co-founders and chief editor of kopuntu.org, a non-lucrative and collective online magazine on diaspora culture, which mostly publishes in Turkish and it has thousands of visitors per month. I am currently changing my base from NRW to Berlin in Germany but still available and open for assignments across Europe as well as overseas related to my skills and expertise. for further info and list of published works: http://ibrahimkarci.com
