Every three seconds, someone is diagnosed with dementia worldwide, a situation the World Health Organization urges to be a public health priority. Portugal has discussed a National Plan for dementia for years. Fernando Araújo, Secretary of State for Health, stated that the government will implement concrete measures in 2018. A working group's document on dementia policy is in public consultation, with the final version due at the Ministry of Health by month's end. 16 Jun 2016  |  TSF Rádio Notícias
The article discusses the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan and the country's uncertain future amidst the backdrop of the NATO Summit. Reporter João Francisco Guerreiro traveled to Afghanistan to cover the situation on the ground, including the experiences and perspectives of Portuguese military personnel and Afghan citizens. Despite a history marred by war, there remains a sense of hope among some Afghans for eventual peace, encapsulated by the phrase 'Inshallah' (God willing). The report features sound design by João Félix Pereira and multimedia editing by Mésicles Helin.
