Iurii Panin is a journalist based in Kyiv, Ukraine.

As a videographer with 15 years of experience, I am excited to apply for the open position as a video operator for news production at the Voice of America's Russian Service in Washington, DC. My technical expertise in production and passion for creating engaging and informative video content make me an ideal candidate for this role. I have a sharp attention to detail and a strong creative vision, which have allowed me to produce a wide range of content.

I am proficient in working with various cameras, lighting setups, and green screen technology in studio settings. I am also highly skilled in using a range of editing software, including Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects, Audition, Photoshop, and Canopus Edius. Throughout my career, I have worked with highly skilled professionals and honed my craft. I have been teaching since 2005 at the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" in the journalism faculty. In addition to my teaching career, I have pursued my passion for photography and videography since 2003 and began my career in video production, shooting, and editing in 2008.

Since 2014, I have been a co-founder of the fact-checking platform StopFake.org and the technical director and chief director of the weekly TV Digest in Russian, English, and Ukrainian languages. We produced a total of 842 episodes.
