K. K. Yam (Keizo Kay Yamamoto) is a tranquil rover and slow writer, who marks monologues, dialogues, and travelogues in the cloud. He is also an independent English-Japanese content editor, interviewer, translator, subtitler, and video editor. He has been working for many media content production projects in Japan and other parts of the world since 2006, at his own digital media sole proprietorship Bluish Media. Before 2006, he worked for three US and UK headquartered global airlines in the airport and marketing offices. A native of Japanese with a command of English and other languages, who studied Video Journalism, Information Science, and Management at universities and a graduate school in the U.S. and Japan. Having lived and worked in Japan, the U.S., and Thailand (plus the U.K. and Hong Kong briefly), he has set foot at more than 600 airports in over 85 countries on 5 continents by flying 100+ different airlines since the late 20th century. Currently multi-based in Tokyo and Sapporo. An English/Japanese filming/interviewing fixer across Japan. A user of XTM, Wordfast, memoQ, and other translation management systems.
