Lauren Coronado is a Production News Assistant at KABC-TV, the number one station in Los Angeles, CA. Lauren additionally works as a freelance correspondent for ABC News Radio. Prior to her work with KABC-TV and ABC Radio, Lauren interned with ABC NewsOne, the affiliate news service for ABC News. During her time with NewsOne, Lauren reported on a variety of dynamic news stories including the San Bernardino terrorist attack, Stars Wars World Premiere and the Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars. Lauren graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a degree in Communication and an emphasis in Journalism. As an undergrad, Lauren worked as a permanent staff writer for the university newspaper, The Poly Post. Lauren was also a four year member of Zeta Tau Alpha, where she worked as a philanthropist for breast cancer awareness and education.
