Simba SC was eliminated by Al Ahly after a 3-0 aggregate loss, while Young Africans were defeated by Mamelodi Sundowns on penalties following a 0-0 tie. The CAF Champions League prize money saw a 40% increase, with the winners set to receive $4 million. Both teams aim to progress further in the next season.
