The example of Krakow to reduce CO₂ emissions in urban centers

14 Sep 2021  |  es.euronews.com
Krakow is implementing measures to reduce CO₂ emissions by restricting car access in the city center, promoting electric bikes, and enhancing pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure. While these changes have improved air quality, they face opposition from local businesses affected by restricted delivery times. Authorities plan to continue these initiatives with community consultation, aiming for a '15-minute city' model where residents can meet their needs within their neighborhoods.

Some of my stories for Euronews and TVN24.

The liberal Trzaskowski (PO) could force a second round with President Duda (PiS)

11 Jun 2020  |  es.euronews.com
Polish presidential candidates are intensifying their campaigns for the rescheduled elections, initially set for May 10 but postponed due to controversies over mail-in voting amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Rafal Trzaskowski, the liberal Civic Platform (PO) candidate, is gaining momentum and could force a second round against the incumbent President Andrzej Duda of the conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party. Other parties, including the Modern Party and the Polish People's Party (PSL), emphasize the need for fair voting conditions and criticize political polarization. The election is expected to continue the long-standing political battle between conservatives and liberals in Poland.
