Lisa Jackson is a South African-born journalist based in London. She's a Runner's World columnist and the best-selling author of Running Made Easy (over 110,000 copies sold), Your Pace or Mine? (which won three Running Awards and has been in the top 50 running books on Amazon for five years) and Adore Yourself Slim (published by Simon & Schuster). She has also self-published three books and audiobooks: Travel Seekness, Travel Agents and Quit For Ever! Lisa was Contributing Editor on Women’s Running magazine for nine years and has written for The Independent On Sunday, The Independent, The Guardian, BBC Wales website, Euronews.com, Reveal, Healthy, Prima, Top Santé, Psychologies, RED, Cosmopolitan, Zest, Runner’s World, Mumsnet, Triathlete’s World, Woman, Men’s Running and The Running Bug. Lisa worked as a sub-editor on the health magazine Zest for 11 years, and for almost five on Cosmopolitan (South Africa and UK). She has also sub-edited numerous publications on a freelance basis including Condé Nast Traveler, Suzy Menkes: 1,000 Posts For Vogue Online, Baku, Oh magazine, The Simple Things, Country Living, Elle Deco, House Beautiful and The Official Ferrari Magazine. Lisa is also a clinical hypnotherapist and HypnoBirthing teacher and brings a wealth of psychological insight to her writing.
