My name is Mario Vizcarra, I am a multiple Emmy award winner News Photographer/Video Editor based in Washington DC. I worked for Univision Affiliates for more than a decade as News Photographer/Video Editor. I have covered Republican and Democratic Conventions, national elections, presidential inagurations and Congress from the year 2000 to present. I also covered the historic visit of president Obama to Cuba and several breaking news, from shootings to terrorist attacks to political issues. With more than 20 years of experience I also have worked in different projects besides news coverage, like the independent film "Amores Gatos" directed by Juan Manuel Calderon and produced by Maria Rondeau where I did the Direction of Photography and camera. I also have worked on Tv commercials, and Tv shows.
