Markus Bruno

Markus Bruno is an award-winning visual journalist based in São Paulo, Brazil.

In 2004 he founded the independent production company Baboon Filmes (www.******). 

It has since produced more than 150 documentaries and special reports in partnership with major organizations and media channels like HBO Brazil, Rede Record, CPFL Cultura, TV Brazil, Rede Globo, Itaú Cultural, MTV Brazil, UNICEF, ESPN and other independent producers around the world. It goes from a range of nature, culture and conservation to hard news, investigative stories and conflict zones, earning him more than a dozen of the most important journalism awards in Brazil.
