Mateus Mateus is a journalist based in Luanda, Angola. He has been writing about national and international macroeconomic issues, ranging from finance, banking, insurance, oil and gas, companies and business to justice and politics, for the Valor Económico newspaper for around 5 years. He also conducts major interviews with businesspeople, economists, academics, bankers, political leaders, government officials and various decision-makers and influencers in the country's and the world's economy and politics. At Valor Económico he also produces major reports, observatories and dossiers on a wide range of topics in various sectors of the economy that have a direct impact on people's lives. He had his first experience in journalism in 2012, at the community newspaper InforSambila, where he reported and wrote about the various socio-political and cultural issues that marked the community, a collaboration that lasted until 2014. She then embarked on web journalism projects, as well as working in radio and TV. She also worked for Ixietu magazine. He has experience in communications consultancy and press relations, having worked at the OnTime Agency, where he was media manager, and at the Ngandungo Agency - Communications Consultancy, where he was secretary-general.
