About Miguel
Director and documentary producer based in Chile. After beginning in the direction of advertising and music videos, he has worked as producer on documentaries with BBC, Discovery, Channel 4, TV5, YLE and Netflix. Has been awarded for his productions in “Informe Especial” TVN where he developed films on various issues such as climate change or the war in Syria, including stories in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and Antarctica. He recently directed documentaries for Al Jazeera English, The Guardian among others. His first feature doc “Campamento Esperanza” (2015) was showcased in various festivals, such as Trento, Boston and others. At WCSFP 2016 he is highlighted as Emerging Producer. He now directs factual contents from We Are South.
