Peony Hirwani is an accomplished journalist, explorer, traveller, and speaker. Living in three completely different parts and cultures of this world; Europe, the Middle East, and Asia in the past four years, Hirwani works to capture and write about stories that inspire and matter in this day and age.

Layered by politics, culture, lifestyle, tech, and sustainability, Hirwani is known for stories that are most needed to be heard by the public. Through social media, Peony strives to raise her voice on issues that worry her nation of origin of India, and different regions that she has called home before.

Her viewpoint has earned her chances to work with noticeable international publications like The Independent, Vogue Arabia, GRAZIA, and Harper's Bazaar UK. Hirwani is not based out of one place as you'll always find her travelling from one part of the world to another in search of the next big story. She is currently working as a full-time culture and lifestyle reporter for The Independent.

At the age of 22, Hirwani has established herself as a  journalist trying to build a positive and justified future for this world. Apart from work, Hirwani is hip-hop, rap, and R&B fanatic and dreams of interviewing and working with acclaimed rappers like Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole at least once in her life.
