About Philip
Philip Keitany is a journalist based in Nairobi, Kenya.  Philip hold a B.A In Communication and Media and an M.A Diplomacy, He is also a Fellow of the prestigious Bloomberg Media Initiative Africa and Safaricom Business Journalism Fellowships. Apart from business reporting, Philip has a wide experience in science reporting especially in Agriculture and Environmental Reporting. He is also an awarding winning journalist, in 2015 he was named the Business Journalist of year by the Kenya media council, in 2017  he was named as one of two African Journalist to win the International federation of Agriculture journalist IFAJ-Alltech Young Leader Award. In 2017 he was also recognised by USAID KAVES for his contribution in development of Agriculture reporting in Kenya. In 2018 Philip won two prestigious awards, he was the First runners up in the Open Forum on Agricultural Biotechnology (OFAB) Africa media Awards 2018 and Winner of the same Open Forum on Agricultural Biotechnology (OFAB) Kenya Media Awards 2018
