Primož Cirman (1979), is free-lance journalist, who is currently doing majority of work for Siol.net, Slovenian most read news site: https://siol.net/avtorji/primoz-cirman-19659/ In last 15 years he has been employed by two largest Slovenian newspapers Delo and Dnevnik, covering stories in economy and politics. In 2012 he received national award for outstanding achievements in journalistic work. In 2017 he published a book »NepoTEŠeni« in which he investigated corruption related to construction of 1,4 billion EUR project of thermal powerplant in Slovenia. He's a vice-president of Slovene association of journalists. EXPERIENCE Since February 2016: Free-lance journalist, working for Siol.net and published articles in other editions (Delo). April 2007 – January 2016: Dnevnik d.d., investigative journalist. Wrote a Slovenian chapter of Richard Schneider's book Hypo Tatort on Hypo affair. July 2002 – March 2007: Delo d.d., journalist in economy and local news section. July 2000 – June 2002: Novi Tednik, journalist in local news section AWARDS 2012 – Consortium veritae, given by Slovene association of journalists for extraordinary achievements in domestic media 2008 – Journalist of the year, given by Dnevnik d.d. 2005 - Consortium veritae, given by Slovene associaton of journalists for the best young journalist in Slovenia. OTHER POSITIONS 2016 – Vice-president of Slovene association of journalists 2011-2016 – Member of the board of Slovene association of journalists 2012 – 2015 – president of the Community of journalist of Dnevnik (Aktiv novinarjev Dnevnika) 2012 – 2015 – member of the supervisory board of Dnevnik d.d. 2010 – 2012 – assistant at Chair of Journalism, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana.
