I'm a Kenyan award winning international radio broadcaster, producer, podcaster and reporter currently based in city of Eugene, Oregon. I have 9+ years of progressive experience in designing, implementing and delivering radio show programs via both traditional and online media platforms. Some of my most notable accomplishments include serving as a sports reporter at the Voice of America in Washington D.C., working as Kenya’s cultural correspondent for BBC Radio’s Cultural Frontline show, hosting the World Rhythms music show on Wolfpack Radio and KWNK radio in Nevada, U.S.A, reporting human interest stories touching on the most vulnerable people in the society for the online publication www.ourtownreno.com and hosting a podcast, Discover America with Prince Nesta, where I share my American experiences comparing it to that of my African culture. I have previously hosted Reggae and dancehall shows, sports shows and youths shows on Nation FM, QFM, Easy FM and USIU Radio (all Kenyan stations).
In this audio episode on Discover America with Prince Nesta podcast, I explore America's lovey dovey relationship with their pets as I compare to the African way of handling their pets. Kenyans also express shock on America’s pet owners ‘weirdness’.
