England out of Rugby World Cup after defeat to Australia

21 Oct 2015  |  Sky Sports
England has been eliminated from the Rugby World Cup after a 33-13 loss to Australia at Twickenham. Australian fly-half Bernard Foley was the standout player, scoring two tries, four penalties, and three conversions. Despite England's improved performance in the second half, including a try by Anthony Watson, they were unable to overcome Australia's lead. The loss means England cannot advance to the quarter-finals, with Australia and Wales moving on from the group. England's final pool match will be against Uruguay, but it will be inconsequential to their World Cup journey.
