About Sahar

Sahar Motallebi is a journalist based in Malmö, Sweden.

Sahar Motallebi graduated as medical doctor from Tehran University and got a Master of International Public Health from Lund University. She also studied health system strengthening and disease mapping at Swiss Tropical Institute,  disaster recovery and civil conflict transformation at Copenhagen university. 

Since  2001 , she has worked  with UN Agencies ( 14 years)  , research institutes , Ministries and  NGOs  in Iran, Sudan, Somalia, Kenya, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Germany, Switzerland and Sweden. Her field of work has been  development and humanitarian programs , at different areas of  service provision, program management,  and policy making and operational research  for health and protection sectors. She speaks Persian, English, Azerbayjani and Swedish.
