Takudzwa Mahove is a journalist based in Zvishavane & Gweru in the Midlands province, Zimbabwe. This young man is currently studying towards an Honours in Politics & Public Management Degree at the Midlands State University. He is also studying towards a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media Studies at the Zimbabwe Open University. He does journalistic work and photography for Ya FM 91.8, a radio station in Zvishavane which focuses on the mining sector in Zimbabwe's Great Dyke.
Takudzwa has previously worked for the Government of Zimbabwe as a Community Development Officer in the Ministry of Women Affairs, Gender and Community Development, Zvishavane District.

MIDLANDS PREMIER IMPRESSED WITH LANDFILL PROGRESS Minister of state for Midlands Honourable Larry Mavhima says he is impressed with the progress that has been made so far in the landfills of the degraded areas along the Zvishavane-Shurugwi highway by mining companies mining in the area. In an interview with Ya FM news Honourable Mavhima said despite the progress, there is still a lot to be done for sanity to be restored in the area that had been degraded by reckless miners. Minister of State for Midlands yesterday toured the degraded Zvishavane Shurugwi highway in Tongogara ward 20 to assess progress in landfills following government's ban on chrome mining in the area.
